St Patrick’s Day – the friendliest day of the year. Together with Guinness we came up with a novel way of sharing a pint of the black stuff with your friends until you can buy them one on the day. The first use of augmented reality on Facebook let your friends pour their very own virtual pint of Guinness personalised with your St Patrick’s Day message. Then they were encouraged to send their own pints to their friends. We made the friendliest day of the year even friendlier.
Oh, and it won Gold for Best Innovation at the Social Buzz awards in December! Sláinte!
